
Kenya’s Winfrida Moraa Moseti ran away with women’s title at the 10th edition of the Bangsaen21 Half Marathon held on Sunday (15) in Bang Saen Beach, Thailand.
The 28 year-old beat a strong deep elite field that included the 2023 Tokyo Marathon champion, Rosemary Wanjiru and the reigning Uganda 5000m National Champion, Rebecca Chelangat.
Moseti who came to this race with the second fastest time on paper of 1:05.59 that she got early this year in Spain, led a 1-3 Kenyan podium as she took the honors in 1:10.01 and was followed in second place by Chelangat 33 seconds later with her compatriot Wanjiru coming home in third in 1:10.53.
