Standard Chartered Hong Kong 10km silver medallist, Vincent Kibet Langat won the sixth leg of Betika-Athletics Kenya Cross Country Series, on Saturday (14) at the Olkalou Arboretum in Olkalou, Nyandarua County.

The 23 year-old took the honors in a time of 32:05.2 and was followed in second place by the reigning Romeo & Giulietta Run Half Marathon champion, Wisley Kipkemoi Yego in 32:08.9 with Iten based John Lomoni wrapping up the podium in 32:18.4.

Kenneth Kiprono Lagat and Simon Ngwatha Mungai from Central Region claimed the fourth and fifth place in a time of 32:35.1 and 32:40.0 respectively.
