Following another successful Valencia Half Marathon, to its major backer from the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, Mercadona’s owner Juan Roig, questions have been raised about the possibility of staging the Marathon on both Saturday and Sunday as it will be done next April in London. It is clear that the enormous demand for the 42.195-kilometer race in the Turia capital would fill two marathons over a single weekend, but in the video published by “Las Provincias” you can see that Juan Roig, accompanied by Correcaminos president Paco Borao, does not see it as a clear option.
