The 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun has once again sold out. For the third consecutive year, the race has depleted the 16,000 bibs available with three months to go until its celebration, on January 10, 2027.
The response from runners again highlights the enormous anticipation surrounding one of the major events on the national running calendar.
The 10K Valencia Ibercaja by Kiprun will thus face its 19th edition with the full participation cap reached, after also selling out its bibs in the editions of 2025 and 2026.
This new sold out solidifies the appeal of an event that each year brings thousands of recreational runners from around the world and hundreds of elite athletes who do not want to miss the occasion.
“Selling registrations earlier than ever is a huge satisfaction, there is a lot of passion behind it, but above all the good work of an organization that is the engine of the world’s best 10K. These three months until the second weekend of the year will be frenetic, and our goal will be nothing other than to offer the participants and the city the best possible experience in every sense,” said Álex Aparicio, the race director.
“We are also runners, which is why we want to thank all the registrants who choose our race again to start the year by running and, above all, who allow us to continue growing and improving edition after edition,” Aparicio has assured, who added that “not only for the organization but for the city, the sponsors, the volunteers, the suppliers, for everyone it represents a huge responsibility and motivation. 16,000 motivations, and therefore responsibilities, to keep working so that next January 10 we can experience another great running fiesta in Valencia.”

Dorsales disponibles para el 5K Valencia Ibercaja
Although the 10K has already filled its 16,000 places, runners who wish to take part in this major day still have an option: the 5K Valencia Ibercaja, which will also be held on January 10, 2027 before the main event.
The 5-kilometer race keeps its registrations open, with bibs still available in its second pricing tier. In this way, those who have not secured a place for the 10K can participate and still enjoy the atmosphere of one of the year’s major sporting moments.
Registrations for the 5K will remain open until January 3 or until the available quota for the next edition, set at 2,500 runners, is reached.
