On Sunday, March 7, 2027, the Olot Swimming Club organizes the 31st edition of the Garrotxa Half Marathon, which has become popular as the “ham half.”
The Garrotxa Half Marathon and the 10 km Popular Race have become popular for the gifts given to participants who finish within the time limit. And it isn’t a finisher medal. We’re talking about rewarding everyone who completes the 21 km with a ham and those who finish the 10K with a pack of cured meats.
The route passes through Vall d’en Bas and Olot, and year after year participation has grown to bring together hundreds of runners, setting a new participation record in the 2026 edition, already reaching 1,000 participants.
With the date of the event confirmed, we inform you that registrations are already open and can be processed through this link. Participants, in addition to the cured meat, also receive a commemorative T-shirt.
In addition, the race has a charitable component: €1 from each registration is allocated to Cáritas Garrotxa, and anyone can contribute through the Dorsal Cero by making a voluntary donation.
The registration price for the Half Marathon is 42 euros, and 22 euros for the 10-kilometer distance.
