The organisers of the 21stt Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon have announced an increase of the prize money for this year’s edition which is slated for October 27, 2024 at the Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi.
While making the announcement during the final press briefing before the race, the Local Organising Committee chairman who is also the Standard Chartered COO, Peter Gitau said that this year’s race having been labeled by the World Athletics Label Road Races made them also increase the winning price from the previous event.
