Sirikwa Cross Country receives Millions from Dettol

The third edition of the Sirikwa Classic Cross Country, a World Cross Country Tour – Gold, received a massive financial boast from Dettol today 23, 2024 at a colorful event held at the Golazo Right Here offices in Westlands Nairobi.

Dettol penned down a partnership worth KShs 2.6 Million to support the Sirikwa Cross Country Championships, scheduled to be held on February 3, 2024 at the Lobo Village in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County.

The race is expected to attract 33 elite athletes from Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Poland, Germany, Britain, USA and other nations from the Middle East countries that have confirmed their participation.

Speaking during the well represented event, Dettol Regulatory Affairs Manager James Mokoro said they are thrilled with the partnership and is hopeful the new relationship will help to grow the event.

“This partnership is a testament of our commitment and active role in supporting young sportsmen and women on their journey to success,” said Mokoro.

The Sirikwa Meet Director, Barnaba Korir was full of praise for Dettol for coming onboard to make the event more fruitful. We welcome such partnerships with open arms and we hope and pray that Dettol will continue to support this event for the coming three years,” said Korir.

The event was also graced by Golazo Right Here Manager, Dorcas Kibet.
