Purity Gitonga wins Bilbao Night Marathon

Purity Kajuju Gitonga made her debut more memorable as she led a Kenyan podium finish at the TotalEnergies Bilbao Night Marathon held on Saturday (19) in Bilbao, Spain.

The 28 year-old who runs under the Run2gether stable, won the race in a time of 1:08.52 and was followed by Sheila Cheroitich in second place in 1:10.34 with Sheila Jeruto wrapping up the podium three finishes in 1:13.27.
