Naom Jebet wins Porto Marathon

The reigning Madrid marathon champion, Naom Jebet took her second marathon victory of the year at the 19th edition of the Porto Marathon held on Sunday (03) in Porto, Portugal.

The 30 year-old who came to this race as the favorite, lived up to her billing as she destroyed the entire field when she cut the tape in 2:30.00 and was followed in second by her compatriot Peniah Jerop who came home ten minutes later.

Sweden’s Malin Starfelt wrapped up the podium three finishes in 2:42.00
