Mercy Chepkemoi took the top honors in Under 20 Women 6km race at the Sirikwa Classic, a World Cross Country Gold tour on Saturday (03) at the Lobo Village in Kapseret, Uasin Gishu County.

Chepkemoi won the race in 20:07 and was followed in second place by Diana Chepkemoi in 20:10 with Sheila Chebet sealing the podium three finish in 20:12

“I did not expect the victory I was a bit tensed but I am happy to book a slot in team Kenya for Africa Cross Country,” said Chepkemoi.
