World Cross Country U20 bronze medallist, Matthew Kipkoech Kipruto ran riot as he claimed the senior Men’s title at the 92nd edition of the Cinque Mulini, World Athletics Cross Country Tour Gold series held on Sunday 17, 2024 in San Vittore Olona, Italy.

The 19 year-old sensation, took charge of the race in the second lap and maintained the lead until the finish line, cutting the tape in 27:26.
Kipruto was followed in second place by the World U20 5000m champion, Andrew Kiptoo Alamisi in 27:29 with Mathew Kipchumba Kipsang making it a Kenyan podium affair in 27:45.
