Master’s in Sports Event Management – LaLiga Business School

September 14, 2026

The third edition of the Master in Organization of Sporting Events at LALIGA BUSINESS SCHOOL, the educational arm of LALIGA, in collaboration with SportLife Ibérica, is near. This program is designed to train professionals capable of addressing the challenges of a growing sports-events industry and to participate in the planning, management, and execution of events of various scales.

With six months of in-person instruction at LALIGA’s Madrid headquarters, the program offers a comprehensive view of event organization, covering areas such as strategic planning, operations management, finance and budgeting, marketing and sponsorship, communication, and the territorial impact of sporting events.

The objective is to provide students with the tools necessary to understand all the areas involved in the creation and development of an event.

One of the main differentiating values of the master’s program is its direct link to the sports industry. Students have the opportunity to learn firsthand how clubs, sports institutions, venues, and other sector actors operate, in addition to taking part in experiences connected to real sporting events.

Among them are hands-on activities and experiences such as participating in popular races in Madrid, which allow translating the knowledge acquired in the classroom to professional contexts.

The program also boasts a faculty made up of active professionals from diverse areas of the sports industry, drawn from associations such as federations, clubs, event companies, agencies, media, and organizations connected to sport. This professional perspective enables students to closely understand the current challenges and opportunities in organizing sporting events.

The training also places emphasis on employability and the development of skills applicable to different professional fields. Students can steer their future toward roles related to event management and production, operations, marketing and communications, sponsorship, logistics, sustainability, innovation, fan experience, or the management of sports projects.

The Master in Organization of Sporting Events thus responds to an industry demanding specialized profiles ready to tackle the sector’s transformation. A program that blends knowledge, practical experiences, and contact with professionals for those aiming to advance their careers in one of the areas with the greatest potential within the sports industry.
