Margaret Gati ready for Chepsaita Cross battle

The Africa 20km Race Walk bronze medalist Margaret Chacha Gati is ready for any battle she will face at the second edition of the Great Chepsaita Cross Country championships slated for Saturday (07) at the Chepkemel Secondary school grounds in Uasin Gishu County.

The 21 year-old who is fresh from sitting for her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), will use the Chepesaita Cross as a build up for the coming season with a target of being in Tokyo for the World Championships.

“I will use the Great Chepsaita Cross Country part of my training for endurance ahead of the coming season with my aim of being in the Team Kenya for the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan,” said Chacha.
