Loice Chemnung breaks Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon course record

The 2014 World U20 5000m fifth place finisher, Loice Chemnung broke the course record at the third edition of the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon held on Sunday (21) at the Japan National Stadium in Japan.

The 27 year-old who came to this race with fastest time on paper of 1:05.58 that she set early this year at the Málaga Half Marathon, ran away with the course record, when she cut the tape in a new course time of 1:07.27 and was followed by the 2015 Asian 5000m bronze medaallist, Mao Kiyota from Japan in 1:11.29 with Mongolia’s Khishigsaikhan Galbadrakh   closing the podium three finishes in 1:12.12.
