The X Race for Financial Education and Inclusion, which will take place next Saturday October 3 at Madrid’s Valdebebas Park, is already in its final week of registrations. This edition is a very special one in which we will celebrate the 10th Anniversary. And, as tradition holds, with prices more than affordable so that everyone can participate and contribute to the ONCE Foundation’s Inclusive Finance Program, a training resource aimed at promoting financial education for people with intellectual disabilities and learning difficulties. We will have 5 and 10 km distances along beautiful trails, paths and dirt tracks — and for only €5 with a T-shirt included!

The beautiful Felipe VI Park will once again be the chosen venue for the participants to complete the different distances. The race is designed for the enjoyment of all kinds of audiences, both participants and companions. As a grand finale there will be children’s races with a cost of €3.
During Sunday morning, athletes and attendees will be able to enjoy the nearly 470 hectares of the park, home to more than 206,000 trees and 183,000 shrubs, including an arboretum, agricultural zones, a natural wetland, a maze, and the slide areas for the youngest visitors. All of this in an environmentally sustainable setting that includes three reservoirs that serve the irrigation system.
The circuits along which the race runs make use of the extensive network of pedestrian paths and part of the livestock road network to form a fun and highly engaging route that will delight running enthusiasts, especially those who value running without setting foot on a single meter of asphalt.
And at the end of the race there will be a very special refreshment stand, courtesy of the Organization… and face painting and storytelling for the youngest participants.
