Team Kenya mixed relay squad was on fire as they led from gun to tape when they reigned supreme at the sixth edition of the African Cross Country Championships held on Sunday (25) at the Hammamet Bay Stadium in Tunis, Tunisia.
The four were led by the 2019 World Cross Country bronze medallist, Winfred Mbithe Nzisa, Victor Kipkirui Mutai, Mirriam Cherop and Edwin Kiprono.
The relay team thrashed Ethiopian contingent to second place that was made up of the 2019 Mixed relay champion, Urgesa Teddese Lemi, Shanqo Burguda Aduna, Emabye Adehena Kasaye and Danbobi Dahdi Dube with Morocco led by the reigning Francophone Games 1500m silver medallist, Rizqy Hafid, Ikram Ouaziz, Tnindoufl Mohamed and Farkoussi Kawtar taking third place.
