Joan Melly wins Paris Half Marathon

Romania’s National 10,000m champion Joan Melly won the women’s title at the Harmonie Mutuelle Semi de Paris held on Sunday (03) in Paris, France.

The 33 year-old who switched her citizenship to trade for Romania three years ago, took the honors in a time of 1:06.58 and was followed in second place by Kenya’s Veronica Loleo in 1:07.45 with Josphine Jepleting also from Kenya completing the podium in 1:09.11.

France’s Fadouwa Ledhem and double National 5000m champion, Manon Trapp finished in fourth and fifth in a time of 1:09.59 and 1:10.56 respectively.
