Adak CEO elected to WADA advisory Board

The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (Adak) is celebrating a win after its CEO; Ms. Sarah Shibutse was elected to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) Expert Advisory Group (EAG) as a representative of the African Region.

Ms.Shibutse’s tenure starts on the 10th of March 2024 and ADAK was pleased and termed it as a win for Kenya after flooring five candidates.

Ms.Shibutse will be representing Africa and sharing the views of various NADO’s with the WADA foundation board through their elected Chair and Vice-chair sitting on the board. She will also be tasked with reviewing anti-doping matters affecting NADO’s and to also provide relevant guidance and pointers to WADA with the sole aim of enhancing collaboration with and development of NADO’s globally.

It is a win for the country and we wish Ms.Shibutse all the best on this new portfolio
