If you’re thinking of taking part in a HYROX in Spain this season, there’s good news: it’s still considerably easier to grab a spot here than in the major international events. We monitor every five minutes the official stores of the four HYROX races in Spain that are already on sale, and this is what the data show as of October 4.
Bilbao, the hardest
HYROX Bilbao (February 6–7, 2027, Bilbao Exhibition Centre) is, four months before the event, the most exhausted Spanish race: there are no remaining spots in Men’s Individual, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, Pro Men (individual and doubles) or Pro Women doubles. Remaining available are Women’s Individual, Mixed Doubles, Pro Women Individual, and the relays.
Valencia, right around the corner
HYROX Valencia (October 15–18, Feria de Valencia) has the Pro Men, Individual and Doubles sold out. In the last week, ten-day blocks that had been sold out returned to sale, especially Pro Men Individual on Friday the 16th, Mixed Doubles on Saturday the 17th, and Pro Women Individual on Friday the 16th, and many of them lasted for hours: half were still available more than five hours later. In most of the other categories there are still spots, particularly on Thursday and Friday.
Barcelona and Madrid: almost everything available
In HYROX Barcelona (November 11–15, 2027, Fira Gran Via) there is no category completely sold out, only a few individual days, such as Women’s Individual on Sunday the 15th, which reopened four times this week. HYROX Madrid (March 17–21, 2027, IFEMA) opened sales ten days ago and only some days around Friday the 19th are sold out, such as Women’s Doubles, which has also reopened several times.
Why it matters
In the rest of the world, the spots that reopen don’t last long: last week more than 650 sold-out days reopened across 43 HYROX races, and half of them sold out again in less than 35 minutes. In Spain, for now, reopenings last hours. If your day is sold out, you still have a window to secure it if you stay attentive.
Five tips
1. Choose the day and the exact category, and have a backup option. Thursdays and Fridays usually offer more spots than the weekend.
2. Sign up for the event’s notification list on HYROX’s official website. Set alerts for new releases, but don’t rely on updates for every spot that becomes available.
3. If someone offers you their bib, remember that it can only transfer to your name through the official name-change process, which in HYROX stores requires the seller to have purchased FLEX or LITE FLEX (check the terms of the Spanish store). Never pay via Bizum or bank transfer to a stranger.
4. Spectator tickets aren’t a problem for now: thousands remain available per day across the four races.
5. Always buy from the official store.
About the data
The figures come from Race Radar (https://raceradar.fit), an independent tool, not affiliated with HYROX, that checks all official stores every five minutes. The live availability for each race is public: Valencia (https://raceradar.fit/race/hyrox-valencia), Barcelona (https://raceradar.fit/race/hyrox-barcelona-2), Madrid (https://raceradar.fit/race/hyrox-madrid) and Bilbao (https://raceradar.fit/race/hyrox-bilbao).
