Double World Champion, Gudaf Tsegay of Ethiopia dominated the women’s 1500m, when she set a championship record on the final Day of the World Indoor Championships held on Sunday 23, 2025 at the Nanjing Sports Training Centre in Nanjing, China.

The Tokyo Olympics 5000m bronze medallist, went into the history books as the fourth Ethiopian to win this same event in a row.
