Fuencarral-El Pardo Half Marathon: Registration Open for February 14

October 15, 2026

The Medio Maratón Fuencarral-El Pardo 2027 will once again challenge runners with a demanding course, marked by around 400 meters of cumulative elevation gain, and by that appealing blend of toughness, atmosphere, and tradition that makes this event one of the most anticipated on the calendar of popular races.

The registration window will remain open until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2027. Participants can choose to register with or without a commemorative long-sleeve shirt. Up to and including January 14, the registration without a shirt will cost 17 euros; from January 15 onward, the price will be 20 euros. In the case of registration with a shirt, the amount will be 24 euros up to January 14 and 27 euros starting the following day.

The 2027 edition of the Medio Maratón Fuencarral-El Pardo also offers the possibility of a joint registration with the Movistar Medio Maratón de Madrid, which will take place on April 4, 2027, with a total discount of 3 euros on both events. This option will be available in the registration form until February 1, 2027.

As in previous editions, picking up the bib on the day of the race will incur an additional 5 euros, to cover the costs of the device required to manage the deliveries. Also, provided that bibs are still available, registrations can be completed half an hour before the start, at a flat rate of 29 euros and without a shirt option.

Since its inaugural edition in 1985, when it already surpassed a thousand participants, the race has become a benchmark event for long-distance running enthusiasts. Participation has stabilized at around 2,000 runners, with female participation close to 20 percent and continuing to grow.

Fabián Blanco, with a time of 1 h 09 min 12 s, and María Isabel Matarranz, with 1 h 23 min 58 s, were the winners of the 2026 edition, on a day that turned Calle Nuestra Señora de Valverde into a festival of athletics, with children’s events and races for athletes with disabilities.
