Ezekiel Kipkorir banned for 3 years by AIU

The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) has banned Ezekiel Kipkorir from Kenya for three years for Presence/Use of a Prohibited Substance (Testosterone), which is a violation of the World Anti-doping Agency.

The 29 year-old was nabbed in August 25, 2024 when he provided a urine sample in-Competion at the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon in India, where he finished in second place. The results after the tests revealed sample of Testosterone and at least one of its metabolites.

Upon being notified on December 5, 2024 by AIU, Kipkorir responded back to the agency seven days later admitting of the charges and was sentenced to four years but reduced to three due to his early admission and acceptance of the sanction.

His results from August 25, 2024 including the forfeiture of all medals, titles, awards, points, prizes, prize money and appearance fee stand nullified.
