Kenya’s Edinah Jebitok won her third world cross country tour title when she took the top honors at the Cross Cub de Hannut held on Sunday in Hannut, Belgium.

The 22 year-old could not allow the freezing weather patterns to dampen her quest as she broke away from her two compatriots Pamela Kosgei and Faith Chepkoech to take an early lead as she pushed through solo to cut the tape first in 31:01 and was followed closely by Kosgei in 31:40 with Great Britain’s Megan Keith making a surprise move of dislodging Chepkoech and taking the third spot in 31:48 with the latter coming home in fourth in 32:34.
