Kenya’s Cynthia Kosgei destroyed the women’s 21km course record at the Ravenna Half Marathon, on Sunday (10) in Ravenna, Italy.
The 30 year-old who is fresh from participating at the Marathon International De Rabat, where she finished fifth in a personal best of 2:28.24, came with a set mind of lowering the race course time as she crashed it totally down, taking off a whopping six minutes and erasing the old time of 1:14.12, set five years ago by Clementine Mukandanga from Rwanda with a new course record time of 1:09.45.
