The early announcement of general elections made this morning by the Prime Minister has been a “torpedo” to the calendar of popular races. One of the events most affected, which had been prepared with great care for November 29 to celebrate its 40th edition.
The decision, adapted by the organizing body, the Córdoba Municipal Institute of Sports (Imdeco), has been to postpone the race to December 13 due to the impossibility of relying on election day security and other services to hold the Half Marathon under normal conditions on the announced date.
Imdeco has announced that refunds will be issued to all registered runners who cannot participate on December 13 and communicate this before Monday, October 12 at 2:00 PM. If there are remaining spots, new bib numbers would be put on sale until reaching the maximum of 7,800 bibs.
