Athletics Kenya has released new dates for the African Games and the National Cross Country championships.

The two events were postponed due to the death of the World Men’s Marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum who passed on through a tragic road accident.

Ak has set the new dates for the African Games to be held on 5th and 6th March, 2024 at the Nyayo National Stadium and the National Cross Championships to be held on 2nd March, 2024 at the Kenya Prisons Grounds, Ruiru.

The two events will be used to select team Kenya to the Africa Games to be held from 18th to 22nd March 2024 in Accra, Ghana and the World Athletics Cross Country Championships slated for 30 March 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia.
