AIU Head pays visit Team Kenya National Cross Country Camp in Ngong

Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) head, Brett Clothier on Thursday paid a visit to the Kenya National team that will represent the country at the forthcoming World Cross Country Championships slated for Saturday, 30 March 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia.

The AIU head visited the Cross Country camp based in Ngong under the leadership the team head coach Julius Kirwa.

Clothier is in the country for a series of meetings with the government, Anti-doping Agency of Kenya (Adak) and Athletics Kenya (AK) as the country intensifies the fight against doping.

The establishment of the Enhanced Testing Programme has enabled kenya to be the leader in advanced testing programmes and the reduction of doping cases is a testament of cooperation between the AIU and the Kenyan government.

Present during the camp visit were Athletics Kenya Chief Administrative Officer, Susan Kamau, Athletics Kenya Youth Development head, Barnanba Korir and Athletics Kenya Head of Anti-Doping Charllote Kurgoy.
