Barcelona will once again dress in red, white, and green next Sunday, December 20, for the celebration of the 3rd Santa Claus Octopus Energy Race. Parc del Fòrum will be the stage for this sporting and family event that invites attendees to bid farewell to the year by exercising and enjoying the Christmas atmosphere.
The race will start at 10:30 a.m. and cover a distance of about 5 kilometres, entirely urban, with the start and finish lines at Parc del Fòrum. The organizers have set a limit of 4,000 participants, distributed as 3,200 Santa Claus bibs and 800 Elf bibs. Adults and youths aged 13 and above may participate dressed as Santa Claus, while the younger participants, aged 1 to 12, will run dressed as Elves.

The registration includes the complete Santa Claus or Elf costume, a chip-equipped bib, an accreditation diploma, and a gift bag from the various sponsors and collaborators. In addition, at the end of the race, participants will be able to enjoy different fitness sessions led by professional trainers, giving the day a sporty and festive ending.
A MORE CHARITABLE CHRISTMAS WITH THE RED CROSS
The Santa Claus Race will once again include a charitable element thanks to the collaboration with the Red Cross, which will organize a campaign to collect new toys during the Corredor Fair.
People who wish to contribute can come on December 18, from 16:30 to 19:00, and December 19, from 11:00 to 19:00, to Escola Grèvol S.C.C.L. (c/ Provençals, 9, Sant Martí, Barcelona), where the Red Cross will set up a space to gather donations.
Toys must be new, retain their original packaging, and must not be sexist or militaristic. The initiative aims to help children from families facing greater economic difficulties to enjoy a toy this Christmas.
REGISTRATIONS OPEN
Registrations are now available through the Deporticket platform and will remain open until December 17 at 23:59 or until all bibs are sold out.
Prices are €16.95 for individual entry, €14.95 per person for family packs of three participants, and €12.95 per person for groups of four or more participants.
The bibs, costumes, and welcome packs collection will take place on December 18 and 19. The venue and exact schedules will be announced soon.
