Huelva Half Marathon 2026 – Full Results

November 3, 2026

Jorge González and Fátima Ouhaddou lived up to expectations this Sunday, November 1, on a sunny morning for the fourth edition of the 21K Ciudad de Huelva, which drew about 2,000 entrants across the half marathon and the 5-kilometer race. The two international marathoners not only won the event, but also set new records by a wide margin.

The Mérida-born González, 31, set off determined to chase the mark at an average pace of about 2:58 per kilometer, and before the first quarter of an hour had passed he left behind the Huelva native Zakaria Boujalfat to go solo. After passing 10K in 29:48, Jorge González crossed the finish line in 1h02:49, a time that shaved 16 seconds off last year’s performance by Kenyan Meshack Kipkurgat Kirwa and made him the first man to run the distance in under 63 minutes in Huelva. The Emeritense, who is in the midst of Valencia Marathon preparation, finished two minutes behind his personal best this year in Lisbon.

Jorge González was joined on the podium by the very Zakaria Boufaljat, with a promising debut over the distance in 1h04:15, and by the Moroccan Bilal Marhoum, with 1h06:25.

The Córdoba-born Fátima Ouhaddou finished fifth in the final standings after shaving 1 minute 27 seconds off Burundi’s Odile Nintje’s 21K Ciudad de Huelva record of 1h14:42. The Asics athlete, who ran at an average pace of 3:28 per kilometer, passed 10K in 34:16 and crossed the finish line in 1h13:15, the new official course record. Ouhaddou ran several kilometers alone, but was aided by the pace set by Francisco José Martín Buceta in the early stages and by José Joaquín Romero in the final stretch.

Fátima Ouhaddou shared the podium with Mari Carmen Chaves (1h20:35) and Estefanía Rouco (1h25:40).

With nearly 400 participants, David Feria (14:32) and Victoria Cordón (18:13) celebrated the home win in the 5-kilometer race.

The 21K Ciudad de Huelva closes its 2026 edition with new records, increased participation, two prestigious winners, and hundreds of runners who enjoyed a morning of sport more typical of spring than of the first day of November.
