The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca 2026 surpassed last year’s participation by more than 1,000 runners (9,500 in total), filling the streets of downtown Palma with a very festive atmosphere. The race was held over three distances (10, 21 and 42 kilometers) and many participation records were broken, with up to a 48% female participation and a 94% of foreign runners from up to 72 countries, drawn by the beautiful route that the Balearic event offers, with start and finish on the Passeig Marítim, at the foot of the impressive Palma Cathedral.
The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca 2026 celebrated today its twenty-second edition with victory in the marathon’s queen distance (42.195 kilometers) for the German Marie-Madeleine Lütters, stopping the clock at 2h56:59 after leading the race solo throughout. Her compatriot Theresa Griesbach and the British Alex Richer completed the marathon podium. María Ramis is the winner of the Balearic championship.
In the men’s category, the 51-year-old Severino Felipe López from Albacete delivered a big surprise by edging out all his rivals. Although he faced some muscular problems in the second half of the race, he managed to keep pace with the pursuers and crossed the finish line in 2h35:04. Second place, and Balearic champion of the distance, was the Mallorcan Toni Melis from Artà. The Portuguese Luis Quintas completed a fully Iberian podium in third position.

HALF MARATHON AND 10 KM

In the half marathon distance, the German Maria Brand (1h20:17) and the Scottish William Beattie (1h09:11) achieved victory in the half marathon. Beattie repeats his 2025 triumph.
The German Paula Gredig (second) and Ingalena Schömburg-Heuck completed the half marathon podium, while Sebastian Verhoeven and Christian Schüffler finished second and third, respectively, in the men’s category.
In the 10km race through central Palma, the German Svenja Discher (39:28) and the Dutch Thomas Cremers (31:36) were the winners in the shortest distance of the three held today.

The event was streamed live through the official channels and TUI’s social networks, the main sponsor of the event: https://www.youtube.com/live/OKnv1p_Pvy0
