Cercedilla will once again serve as a gathering point for running enthusiasts and mountain race lovers on December 13, 2026, as a new edition of its traditional Christmas Race takes place. This event blends sport, nature, and a festive atmosphere in one of the Sierra de Guadarrama’s most emblematic settings.
The race will keep its usual route of 13 kilometers with 540 meters of positive elevation, a course that offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy the mountains and that, given its distance, elevation gain, and technical difficulty, is particularly attractive for those looking to take their first steps in trail running.
Registration opens this Monday via the official website, www.carreracercedilla.es. Additionally, runners registered as residents of Cercedilla will be able to complete their registration in person at the Municipal Sports Center.
