Runners planning to participate in the 21K City of Huelva have before them one of the last major dates before the event. Starting on September 15, the registration price will rise from the current 26 euros to 29 euros, a rate that will remain unchanged until the half marathon on the upcoming November 1. The modification marks the final price change planned by the organizers, so runners who have not yet confirmed their participation have the last days to secure their bib at the current rate. The 21K City of Huelva thus enters a decisive phase of its registration campaign after several months in which participation has shown a positive trend. The event already has nearly 1,100 registered with still several weeks to go. The figure places the organizers closer to the records of the previous edition, in which around 1,370 runners participated. The aim now is to continue increasing the number of entrants in the coming weeks and to consolidate the growth of a race that has become one of the main fixtures of the local sports calendar.
September 20, another important date
In addition to the price change, participants should note another date marked on the calendar. Those who want to guarantee the selected T-shirt size at the time of registration must complete it before September 20. From that moment, the availability of certain sizes will depend on stock, so the organizers recommend not waiting until the last days for those who have decided to race the 21.097 kilometers. The combination of both dates makes this second half of September one of the campaign’s key moments. First comes the price increase on the 15th and, five days later, the deadline to secure the official T-shirt size for the race will end.
The City of Huelva will run again on November 1
The 21K City of Huelva will take place on November 1 and will once again bring together amateur runners on a day when athletics will occupy a large share of the city’s sports spotlight. The evolution of registrations confirms the strong interest in a half marathon that continues to grow year after year and that aims to keep gaining prominence within the calendar of popular races. The race is organized by the City Council of Huelva and enjoys the backing of various sponsoring and collaborating companies, in addition to the work of organizers, volunteers and everyone involved in the development of the event. With around 1,100 bibs already allocated, the next milestone is highlighted in red on the calendar: on September 15 the price will rise from 26 to 29 euros and will not be modified again before the race.
