World Marathon record holder, Ruth Chepngetich led Kenyan athletes in dominating the 2014 Top 100 Kenyans named by the Kenyans.co.ke.
This year’s list which listed 100 individuals was dominated by fourteen athletes who excelled well this year in their various field they participated in led by Chepngetich who broke the world record, Faith Kipyegon who claimed three world records and taking her third historic 1500m Olympic medal and Beatrice Chbete the history making double Olympic gold medallist in 10000m and 5000m races.
Olympic 800m champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi, Mary Moraa the 800m Olympic bronze medallist and Olympic marathon bronze medallist, Benson Kipruto are also in the list.

Others include Paris Olympic marathon bronze medallist, Hellen Obiri, New York Marathon champion, Sheila Chepkirui, Chicago Marathon champion, John Korir and Fastest man in Africa Ferdinand Omanyala.
Tokyo Olympics marathon champion, Peris Jepchirchir, World 10km record holder Agnes Ngetich and Olympian Alexander Mutiso Munyao are also among the top 100 Kenyan influencers
