10 San Silvestre Races to Run in the Community of Madrid

San Silvestre Vallecana
The largest one by far. This year it counts 42,000 participants for the 10 km between Bernabéu and Vallecas. The first wave of the popular race will start at 5:50 PM and the international one, for which participants must clock under 39 minutes for men and under 42 minutes for women, at 8:55 PM. Registration costs 31 euros.
San Silvestre de Las Rozas
A perfect option for those who want to run on New Year’s Eve morning. They offer distances between 5 and 10 kilometers with a start from 10:00 AM. Until October 25 the bib costs 15 euros (later it rises to 18 euros).
San Silvestre de Colmenar Viejo
Starting at 10 AM, the event opens with two course options: 10 km and 6 km. Registration is 12 euros for the longer race and 10 euros for the shorter one.
San Silvestre Cosladeña
With start and finish at the athletics track of the Valleaguado Sports Complex in Coslada. Starting at 10:00 AM. 7 km. There are also children’s races.
San Silvestre de Alcobendas
On December 31, 2026, the nineteenth edition of the Alcobendas San Silvestre will be held, offering the two options of 10 km and 5 km. The start is at 12:00 noon. Registration, 16 €
San Silvestre de Getafe
The 44th edition of the southern Madrid race. Start and finish at the Juan de la Cierva Sports Center in Getafe at 11:00 AM on December 31. It’s a 10 km race. Registration, 17 €
San Silvestre Complutense
Alcalá de Henares will start its San Silvestre at 10:00 in the morning with the 10 km race, starting and finishing on Calle Colegios, behind the Town Hall and next to Cervantes Square, so the race returns to the city’s historic center. Until October 30, registration costs 15 euros (rises to 18 euros). Afterwards, in a second phase until November 20, the price will be 18 euros.
San Silvestre Mostoleña
For those who cannot wait, on Sunday December 28 the 32nd edition of the San Silvestre in Móstoles runs with an 8 km route. There are also children’s races.
San Pinteña
Among the early birds. Before Christmas Eve! It is held on Sunday, December 20 with start and finish at the Auditorium of Juan Carlos Park from 1:00 in the morning with 10 and 5 km. 6 5.
San Silvestre Trail y urbana de Hoyo de Manzanares
A festive way to bid farewell to the year by running on December 31 through the natural setting of the Pedriza with a 16 km Trail. They also host a 5K urban race and children’s events
